Club Quarters Hotel Wacker at Michigan

Overall, I'd rate this as the best bet in downtown Chicago. Location is excellent, rates are very reasonable, and service impeccable. The rooms are not huge but very well appointed, clean, modern, and well maintained. Bravo!

We had a fantastic stay, at a very reasonable price and even received an unexpected upgrade! I have been raving about your hotel to family and friends. What a first class operation you folks have in Downtown Chicago!!

Lovely hotel, horrid elevators

Liked: Beautiful location. Pretty lobby. Great view from room. Comfortable.
Disliked: Getting stuck in the elevator for several minutes and no one answering the emergency phone. The elevator stopped, dropped, and then all of the button lights turned off. The elevator eventually started to move and opened at a random floor (not selected). The floor number identifier showed "X". We all got off at that point and took the stairs. Schlepping up and down to/from the 14th floor was not very fun with luggage.

Liked: Meoisha made the check in process so smooth. She was very helpful and her customer service was on point. I loved my view of the river from my room. The hotel was walking distance to the riverwalk, restaurants and shopping. Will def stay here again!
Disliked: Valet is $53 per night. The first day getting my vehicle took longer than the quoted 20 min bc they were short staffed. But all staff interactions were lovely.

A welcoming and comfortable place...

Liked: Self-serve water bottles are very convenient.Voucher for Land & Lake restaurant next door.Great view/location, on the river.
Disliked: Would like to have a safe in the room.
