Relatively good value, preferable to...

Liked: Good location, easy access to Grand central station. Walking distance to Times Square, 5th ave shopping including Macy’s department store
Disliked: Fairly basic amenities, no bar fridge, small lobby but good rooftop bar and balcony.

Unforgettable time at CQ Grand...

Liked: Great hotel to visit NY. Perfectly located, a few steps from Grand Central and 10 mins walk from Times Square. Personnel at the reception, hotel manager, cleaning staff, are all extremely kind and helpful, very patient, always ready to answer your questions with a smile. Our room was big and clean (I am alergic to dust mites so I can "certify" that it was very clean), fully equipped with all comforts. The water refill station is very convenient, we have used it every day. And the 27th floor with the beautiful terrace makes this hotel just perfect.
Disliked: Minor points only. Pillows were too thin and soft. There could be more hooks to hang towels for drying. Elevators were only three and often quite busy so waiting time was long sometimes.

A MUST Visit location

Liked: I enjoyed all the interchangeable furniture. It allowed for multiple-use. The property was in close proximity to highly populated neighborhoods but still away from the hustle and bustle.
Disliked: The lack of on site parking. It was quite a distance away. Very small unloading area in a narrow block.
