Saw room and cancelled reservation

Liked: The staff - great prior or check in and after we cancelled our reservation on site, she was very accommodating. She offered to show us another room, but we declined as we were not comfortable staying at the hotel. We also weren’t convinced another room was going to be or feel cleaner.
Disliked: We were booked to stay for 3 nights. When we headed to the floor, then saw the room and bathroom, we cancelled our reservation immediately. The room was not clean, carpet was filthy and in addition had not been properly vacuumed. The green armchair in the room was heavily stained. The bathroom was very dated and hallway on the floor was tired and didn’t feel clean. Given the rating on booking and price, this was far from what we expected.

Disappointing

Liked: The hotel was nice and clean. The night staff was great. The morning staff. Tried to plan with my intelligence. We punched the room,and turned the heat on and left out for drinks. Came back. And was still cold. Went to bed and woke up still cold. I called the front desk. The said the build was in cool down mode. What ever that meant. But the bed was comfortable. And good area.

Liked: This hotel is a total scam – do not book it!
Disliked: This hotel is a total scam – do not book it!They charged me for an extra night. When I complained, instead of fixing the mistake, they changed my reservation a month later to make it look like I had stayed an extra day. After I reported this to Booking.com, the hotel quickly edited my reservation again to cover their lie. Booking.com asked them to issue a refund for the overcharge, but the hotel refused and never refunded it. On top of that, the hotel itself is terrible. My friend, who stayed in another room, got a skin bacteria from dirty sheets that were clearly not changed between guests. My bed sheets and pillowcases were also dirty when I arrived.Stay away from this place!

Liked: Great location, great room and amenities for the price.

Good, central value

Liked: Very well situated hotel with an excellent functional room. Large window, sufficient hot water, etc.
Disliked: The carpet was very stained in the room. The room had no decor to speak of.
