Poor

Put so much strain on...

Liked: Location is amazing, in the middle of the centre, with parking included. All the good things end there.
Disliked: Very old and wobbly beds, every time someone in the bed lifts as much as an arm, the entire bed shakes, waking the other up. The rooms were extremely hot, with no options to ventilate. Bathrooms were a bit smudgy, with dark mold along the edges. The sliding door to the bedroom made so much noise! Breakfast was manageable, pastries were nice but the fruit salad was really old and mushy.

Excellent location and cosy rooms

Liked: We had a room in the annex, which seemed more modern than the main house, facing the quiet back of the hotel. The bed was super comfy, and the room very clean. Free parking is available behind the hotel. The location is excellent with the castle as well as pubs and restaurants in walking distance.
Disliked: The breakfast room is a bit dated and dusty - the cooked breakfast was nice though and very friendly staff.

Great stay and will consider...

Liked: Loved the decor, facilities such as USB sockets, great bathroom, fan and how quiet it was. Lots of room in the single bedroom to empty my suitcase and feel comfortable.Great location, was able to discover the town by foot.Staff was very friendly and I loved the different levels/stairs/corridors making it quirky. If I had a big suitcase that would have been a problem though !
Disliked: The automatic light in the bathroom is useful but way too bright when nipping there in the night.

Liked: I loved the interior of this hotel it felt warm and welcoming. The staff was lovely and breakfast was delicious. I would return for definite
Disliked: I will say the room although it was lovely and bed so comfortable, however it was very warm. There was two fans supplied to us.
