Jacuzzi fiasco.

Liked: The jacuzzi area was good in concept but very cramped and very difficult to navigate to and from. I know that you have to work with that you have when redesigning a mansion, but a recommended age limit might be appropriate for those who want to use the jacuzzi in the room we used. :-) Also you may want to put up a big sign letting people know to fill the tub until the water is over the jets before turning on the jets.

This stay exceeded our expectations!

Liked: Our stay far exceeded my expectations. Everything was available for us. Our room was decorated beautifully. For instance the bathroom included an oversized 2 person jetted tub, with shower and detachable water nozzle. The towels were oversized and very plush. Not like at a hotel where the towels are tiny and hard to touch. The bathroom was very well stocked and even came with matching robes.The bedroom was immaculate. The bed and bedding were comfortable. We had plenty of soft pillows. There was a fireplace to warm things up. The residence was quiet. We also had access to coffee, tea, snacks, movies, and dishes if we had leftovers from restaurants.The breakfast meal both days was perfect. The staff worked hard and there was a lot of attention to detail in the food and table setting. It left us very full and very satisfied. We would love to come back. This is a much better value than any hotel we've ever stayed at.
Disliked: I don't have one single complaint, just praise!

Liked: Staying here ended up being better than expected. The breakfasts were crazy good! We had the tower room, which has a tub in the tower...such a relaxing feeling being up in that quiet space. Location was perfect for getting anywhere in Galena that we wanted. And Paul was the best host, we will definitely stay here again!
