Rurally located the Clint Lodge features fee Wi-Fi throughout and free private parking. This 19th century sporting lodge is just 7 miles from the small town of Melrose and is pet-friendly. The rooms offer a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite or private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. The majority of rooms are front-facing with panoramic views over the River Tweed to the distant Cheviot Hills. In the mornings guests can choose from the extensive breakfast menu. Clint Lodge also offers packed lunches and evening menus by pre-arragement. Dishes are prepared using locally sourced Scottish produce. Meals are served in the dining room overlooking the River Tweed. There is no bar at the property. Guests may bring their own drinks to have with dinner. The Clint Lodge is located in the Scottish Borders countryside. The Dryburgh Abbey is just 20 minutes' walk and the William Wallace (Braveheart) Monument is less than a mile away. There are 12 golf courses within 30 minutes' drive of the country house including St Boswells Golf Club.

Single night stay in Clint...

Liked: Impressive house with far distance views over the countryside. Very warm welcome and an excellent meal served in the evening and breakfast. Large bedroom with an equally large, comfortable bed.
Disliked: The bathroom is a little tired and unfortunately the toilet cistern was not working properly which let the place down.
