Liked: Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly hotel with available car park. Breakfast was very good. Hotel staff kindly allowed us to park our car ahead of check-in, since we arrived early.
Disliked: The room was very small. Considering how expensive it was (+extra charge for a dog) I was expecting more from it, especially since it was not a last minute booking. We were there for one night only and I wouldn’t be happy to have that room for longer.

Liked: Location.Furniture Turn of the century building
Disliked: Water pressure to low making it impossible to have a shower.No support rail in the bath/shower.The room was too small for a double bed.I cut my leg and bruised my toe on the divan base due to inadequate space.Only one bedside table and lamp.40 minutes wait for breakfast. Full breakfast was served without any eggs or black pudding. Room 38.

Disliked: Room on the top floor and water pressure was poor.

Liked: We enjoyed on 2 night stay at the Cliftonville Hotel. Our sea view was excellent. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious with a roll top bath and walk-in shower. The breakfast was good and dinner we had on one evening was nice. Decor in the hotel was interesting with original features and stained glass windows. Good location to walk to the pier and town. Parking was convenient at the hotel.
Disliked: We definitely paid for the view and bathroom with the price of the room. On top of the cost of the room we had to pay another £70 (£17.50 each) for breakfast which was overpriced. I knew breakfast wasn't included but Booking.com should see to include the breakfast in their price. The restaurant service in the evening was a bit disorganised.
