Cliff Cottage Inn Downtown Bed & Breakfast

Good

Liked: Breakfast was good both days we were there. One day there was a sort of casserole that was a little burnt on the outside. Not sure what kind of juice came with breakfast, but it was very good. Location was good, just a minute walk from the main street or the trolley stop for every route. In terms of places to go there's obviously the main street with all the shops and stores. The Blue Spring Heritage Center is about 15 mins away from Eureka Springs, but it's well worth the drive. Lake Leatherwood is great for kayaking, and is on the trolley path. The Crescent Hotel and the pizza restaurant on the roof are great, with good views.
Disliked: I wish that when breakfast arrived it wasn't so loud. We were told it was supposed to be around 9, but maybe a few minutes early or late. At 8:30 we got a loud knock on the door for breakfast. Forgot to put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door so that happened both mornings. The notebook that is on the dresser for people to leave notes in didn't have a pen, it's a small thing but I thought I'd mention it. The bed sheets had quite a few holes in them. The note on the wall said to be delicate with their "premium" bed sheets, but we were disappointed to see the rips and holes that were on them.

Liked: Charming and comfortable cottage with easy access to good restaurants.
Disliked: The commode in the bathroom is old and very low...difficult to access at any age...without a hold bar of any sort, only the door handle.

Liked: Loved the ❤️fireplace, the coziness location, the beauty inside and out of the cottage.The Emily Dickinson cottage was quaint and loved reading more about her in the books that were at the residence. Loved how spacious the bathroom was-the tub -and the showerhead setting w/very hot hot water
Disliked: The sofa bed was OK with comfort. It just really squeaked too much. The musty smell was a little bit more than I anticipated so I purchased a pleasant smelling candle for the cottage.

Liked: Did not eat breakfast. Checked out at 730 am
Disliked: There was old coffee in the pot, I had to wash it to use it. The ice container was covered in dust, I had to wash it. The jacuzzi tub was broken I couldn't use the air jet option. The sofa bed was worn out and there were not any available covers for the sofa bed that was an option to sleep on. The air is controlled by multiple rooms and multiple guests so I was very hot and uncomfortable due to another guests personal preference

Liked: We loved Ciff cottage inn. So relaxing, the weather was perfect, no crowds. We loved hanging out on the front porch, overlooking the town. So close to everything!! We truly were happy with everything. Highly recommend!!
