Wonderful guesthouse with excellent breakfast

Liked: A beautiful guest house in the perfect location to visit Herstmonceux Castle, Eastbourne, Pevensey, Brighton, Hastings, Battle. Many pubs and restaurants locally. Excellent breakfast! Very friendly and helpful owner. Wonderful room with beautiful views. Very clean, with great character. Highly recommend.
Disliked: Liked everything, absolutely no complaints.

If travelling to the area...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Multiple choices properly prepared and presented. Room and facilities were excellent. The proprietors went the 'extra mile' for us.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: A lovely old house in beautiful grounds, a view over the valley that was lovely. Sally was a wonderful host who obviously know what it takes to take care of her guest. The room was immaculate wit nice facilities. There were multiple choices for breakfast which was nice. Handy tip for finding it, using what3word admit.prancing.standard
Disliked: we only spent one night... lol, there was nothing to complain about. Evening food options around the immediate area are a bit limited on a Sunday but that bares no refection on out stay here

Liked: Great location. Great hosts. Great breakfast. What more could you want?

Nice stay but no heating.

Liked: Everything was in your room that you could need.Tea/coffee facilities were very good.Breakfast was excellent and host was lovely.
Disliked: There was no heating anywhere and you have to ring owner to ask for it to be put on. I sent a text which wasnt seen until the next day after we left. Dining room was abit chilly.Could do with door hook in bathroom.

Amazing stay.

Liked: We liked absolutely everything! Sally was outstanding in her hospitality; super friendly, helpful and very thoughtful. The place was spotless throughout, and there was everything you may need - even board games and books! Breakfasts were delicious, with a very good variety to choose from. The property is beautiful, and perfectly located for exploring the surrounding area.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

Pretty stopover on a walking...

Liked: Well positioned for our walk on the 1066 Country Walk. Comfortable rooms and some nice sitting areas, a pretty garden with amazing views.Very good breakfasts.
Disliked: Not the property’s fault, but the nearest places to eat are in Herstmonceux 1.5 miles away - which is significant if you don’t have transport and have been walking all day.
