A nice quiet rest.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable and the room quite spacious, found the coffee facilities the morning I was leaving, maybe if I had opened the drawers I would have seen it.
Disliked: Nothing to fault other than I would have liked to have been able to stay longer.

Disappointing

Liked: Comfort, cleanliness, decor, vacinity for Luas
Disliked: Rude and poorly trained staff. Awful dining experience. We ordered off the bar menu, the sausage and mash came with chips instead of mash, the spinach and pesto pizza was delivered to the table in disguise as a plain/margarita, the soup looked like it was a few days old and was tepid at best when it reached the table. Is it too much to ask for to be informed if the kitchen has run out of ingredients and have the choice about whether you want chips instead of mash, or margarita pizza instead of spinach and pesto?!! A hotel group at the calibre of the Clayton should be absolutely ashamed at the poor quality and service we experienced.

People not machines

Liked: We enjoyed the interaction with the staff.
Disliked: We are alarmed that technology is replacing people. Asking people to check in & check our on a machine is not the way to go. Perhaps you are not aware but social interaction is a modifiable risk for dementia. People need people not machines.

Won’t ever be back

Liked: Leaving it.
Disliked: Food was awful. Club sandwich served cold with raw bacon. Ordered a dessert but after waiting for 30 minutes I had to tell the waiter to forget about it. Breakfast was mediocre…eggs sitting too long. Had to wait 10 minutes to get a bowl to put cereal in. Not a good experience.
