Good but could be better

Liked: Good location for Gunnersbury tube and access to central London or other locations. Good size room with reasonably comfortable bed - bit firm for me but that is personal due to a painful hip. Good shower. Pleasant bar area.
Disliked: Restaurant wasn't open at all in the evenings of our stay so we had one meal in the bar area which was ok. Breakfast was buffet style, generally good supply of the usual items however some things were lukewarm. The layout isn't particularly conducive to safe passage and flow at busy times. Saturday morning breakfast was adversely impacted by the maitre d' barking orders at the female staff to clear sections quickly and staff rushing around. Perhaps if some of the areas had been managed better earlier on that might not have been necessary. Rooms are air conditioned and cannot open windows (which helps reduce traffic noise) however the temperature can only be reduced to 18 degress which is very warm for sleeping.
