Was in Cardiff for a show at the Motorpoint Arena. Hotel is right down the road from the venue as well as all the downtown action. Great value!

Bit of a let down...

Liked: Location of the hotel was brilliant, very central & walking distance for everything we needed (lots of shopping). Staff were very friendly & professional
Disliked: I had previously stayed at the Clayton Hotel in Bristol which was incredibly stunning, so when I knew we were going away to Cardiff, I knew we had to stay again! We went away for my mums birthday & to be completely honest, the room was a bit of a let down. There was no special quality about the hotel from the lobby to the room decor. It was even mentioned by the reception staff that when I said I’d stayed at the sister property previously, they said ‘oh that one is much nicer’. The view from our hotel was the middle section of the hotel & our windows were very dirty so we left the curtains closed. The photo’s did not reflect what our hotel room was like. No fault with the quality of customer service that we received!!
