Heather, Denver, visiting Utilita Arena Cardiff

Was in Cardiff for a show at the Motorpoint Arena. Hotel is right down the road from the venue as well as all the downtown action. Great value!

Liked: Location was excellent. Great value for the money. Catherine went above and beyond for us!
Disliked: Nothing.

Acceptable overnight stay but not...

Liked: Fantastic location and nice breakfast
Disliked: I had expected a king size bed but it was a double with lumpy pillows. Our view was of rain stained tiny internal walls.

Pleasant

Liked: Very good location and nicely sized room and bathroom.
Disliked: Noise from the bars/pubs outside was quite noticeable, as well as people talking in the halls. The TV was very difficult to work out (had to ask the front desk, who were very good) but it was an easy fix, just not very user friendly.

Great location - very convenient...

Liked: Location was great. Hotel room pretty good - good soundproofing as right over the railway. Breakfast food was a little disappointing - the oat milk wasn’t chilled, eggs out a bit too long and the melon had turned. Staff friendly. Lifts took quite a while and a bit temperamental and as I was on the 11th floor, I had to use. The fridge wasn’t on in the room so the water was warm.
Disliked: Self service machine didn’t work for me until I queued to ask staff to help. Quite corporate - lots of people there for business meetings.
