Areas for Improvement

While the hotel hits most high notes, some guests mention that the parking options are limited and may require a short walk. Also, the rooms don’t have mini-fridges — not a dealbreaker, but worth noting if you like to stash post-show snacks.

Very good

Liked: The room was a good size with a big bed, which was very comfortable. The bathroom was well presented. Not the best view from the window. I couldn't fault the cleanliness.
Disliked: I was greeted by a member of the reception team, who I can only say was very pleasant and welcoming. But then guided me to a station akin to Macdonald's or Burger king to check in, and not the desk, which took her away from said desk and it appeared to be a self service check in. Why have a desk and encourage people to check in themselves? Also bigger cups in the room.

Really disappointing - not worth...

Liked: The location of the hotel is brilliant - really close to the shops, restaurants and other entertainment establishments however just down a little lane so it is quieter than you would maybe think.
Disliked: This hotel is severely mismanaged. From our arrival (at 1454hrs) we got told that we could not check in until 1500hrs... yes that is right... 6 minutes. So we got told to sit down and join the queue again when it was the appropriate time. We then watched each person checking in (by this time there was a long queue as they were trying to tackle everyone checking in at the same time). We finally got to our room, which was right at the back of the hotel and probably the furthest away room, which wasn't ideal, however we would have let this slide but when we got in our room it was absolutely tiny, a window looking on to a wall and it had a double bed and a single bed crammed in. We did not book a family room (you couldn't even have a family in there!!). We asked to move, and to their credit they did, to a better room to be fair. We wanted to dine in the hotel restaurant that evening as we were meeting family (also staying at the hotel - also having a poor experience) but on arrival we were told that they couldn't accommodate us because they had a 'coach full of people dining there ALL WEEKEND'... so they showed us to a 'nice, breakout bar' where we could eat instead. We agreed but then we were shown an area of the lower ground hotel, with no windows, no music and other guests sitting with their suitcases... Something to also watch out for is that even if you select 'pre payment prior to arrival' they don't take this until check in. We thought we paid already but then were hit with the full bill on arrival... at 1500hrs on the dot. On complaining, there was no apology. No care. We were told to email the manager and then... 'actually they will email you'.... we are still to receive anything. Will not be staying again. The most expensive option is not always the best.
