Cheap basic amenities.. not super...

Liked: I like the central location 3 minute walk from the Bullring. There was a car park close by which is subsidised by the hotel. Ari who checked me and my friends in was lovely.
Disliked: We requested an earlier check in.. it wasn’t really honoured but I understand it not always honoured. The room had a smell it a drain not at all pleasant.. it was a basic room.. the AC did not work and it was a warm day. The lights also turned off often for no reason. Upon check out I was told I had not paid and had to provide proof that I paid during check in I was even asked what card terminal I used. I was told a check in that parking for 24 hours was cost £10 instead of £20 subsided by the hotel. I had my parking ticket validated at the desk when I checked out. When I got to the car park (Selfridges Moore street) the machine stated that it would still cost £20. I had to contact parking office and explain I came from Clayton hotel and even then it was only subsided to £14. It’s safe to say I won’t be staying again unfortunately.

Great staff, poor owners

Liked: Suitable for my needs
Disliked: Check in process could be more efficient. 3pm is far too late and is due to not employing enough staff so the business can maximise their profits.

Unprofessional service and unhygienic room

Liked: Location
Disliked: Room is not checked for guests. Air-conditioning is not working, TV is not working.Unqualified staff. Upon complaint the room condition, the manager asked me “what do you want me to do”? I’m shocked with her altitude to the customer. And more to add…..Mould in the bathroom which can be clean very easily but clearly staff not pay attention to it.Towel has drip marks in it and should be discarded!
