Lovely Stay

Liked: Chris was welcoming, friendly & knowledgeable. He recommended 2 really good restaurants, and also gave great info about the local area. Breakfast was very tasty and the room was large with everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

Liked: The breakfast was excellent, cooked well and lovely fresh ingredients. Very clean and well presented.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like. We were very pleased with everything.

Fantastic weekend stay! Didn't want...

Liked: We enjoyed our stay so much. Lovely warm, clean, and homely room. The location is perfect for a walk into the village. Fantastic shower pressure. Everything we needed in the room. I loved watching the birds on the bird feeders from our window and watching the resident chickens! Chris and Margaret couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and we loved having a chat. The breakfast was fantastic. We bought some eggs and homemade honey from Chris before we left and if we lived close enough we would be regular customers! :)
Disliked: The location is great for a stroll into the village. However, it's worth noting that it is on a main through road, which can be noisy during the day, not that it bothered us as we were up and out! At night it wasn't a problem at all! It certainly won't put us off staying again!
