This family-run hotel is set overlooking Redcar seafront just a few steps from the sandy beach. Located on the High Street it offers rooms with attached bathroom with free Wi-Fi a full English breakfast and free parking. Many of the rooms at Claxton Hotel feature scenic sea views and all include a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Hairdryers and irons are available upon request and room service is available throughout the day. Liked: All the time we stayed at the Claxton Hotel the staff very friendly and the room is comfortable and very clean and beautiful breakfast we stay no where else and its dog friendly Thanks William Thompson and wife Debra and the little dog Bella

Disliked: No comfortable lounge chairs in communal areasWindows had tinted shading with Claxton Hotel written on them which obstructed the Ocean view when seated in the lounges
