Liked: The Classique Bed & Breakfast is really outstanding. It is located in a historical building which gives it a unique ambience. The room we had was pretty big and very nice.The breakfast was fantastic with cereals and a large plate of fresh fruits.But the best is for sure the host couple! Incredibly friendly and helpful, you always feel perfectly welcome!

Liked: What a welcoming B&B! I felt like I stepped back in time, living in dreamlike luxury. Iva and Russell (the hosts) were so friendly and accommodating. They made a lovely cup of coffee on arrival which was perfect after the 4 hour drive from Cairns.I stayed in the 'Gold Queen Room', which was air-conditioned and so comfortable. The B&B was only 900 metres walk to Queensland Countrybank Stadium where I was attending the P!nk concert, so it was situated in an extremely convenient location. When I returned from my night out, I enjoyed sitting in the pool room and having a complimentary glass of port. Although the B&B was located on Sturt street, I could not hear any traffic from my room and I had a wonderful night's sleep.In the morning I sat on the lovely back deck and ate a delicious breakfast that Iva and Russell prepared, consisting of fresh coffee, an assortment of tropical fruit, eggs (however I would have like them made - I chose scrambled) toast, and a selection of 3 specialty conserves - Ginger Marmalade, Mango and Rosella. I was honestly sad I had to leave. I can't wait to come back for a longer stay!
Disliked: I wish I could have stayed longer!

Classy, character property with fantastic...

Liked: Distinctiveness of the property - era, high ceilings, character. Hosts - extremely service oriented and with local venue recommendations. Russell and Iva are very assiduous!. Room - very large and comfortable. Shower great. A classy, character property in Townsville that makes a change from all the beachfront bungalows on the Qld coast.
Disliked: Common areas had only fans (no aircon) and hot nights (ie 25 degrees) meant the fans didn't quite cut it. (Although our room had both aircon and fan).

Liked: It was a really nice old bed & breakfast. We got their Best breakfast during our stay in Australia. Also we got perfect Informations regarding our visit of Magnetic Island and they drove us to the ferry. On top they Spike czech and my wife could talk in her mother tongue. So far our best accomodation in Queensland.
