Classik Hotel Alexander Plaza

Excellent location

Liked: Excellent location, close to the riverside, the museums, the tv tower etc. Very clean premises and the staff was polite and helpful. The room was what we ordered. Great mattress in the bed bit no extra pillows available. The room was too hot in the August heat because the ventilator was not efficient enough. The breakfast buffet was not lavish and the fruit were not fresh. All in all: OK

Liked: It is a beautiful hotel in a great location with friendly staff.
Disliked: The hotel advertises that they have air-conditioning on both their website and booking.com. I specifically chose this hotel due to the air conditioning. When I arrived in my room, it was almost 30 degrees inside. Upon further investigation I found they have an Air Circulation system, not air conditioning.I specifically chose this hotel due to the "Air Conditoning" filter i used in booking.com. The staff were good and after making it very clear I was not going to accept this, they quickly peocessed a refund. However I then had to spend an hour of my day in the 35C heat paying to get to another hotel and paying high prices at the last minute. The hotel is welcome to contact me once they fix their website and booking.com and I will update my review.
