Very good

Staff was WONDERFUL and kind

Liked: Good price and not far from university
Disliked: Room was not cleaned. Clothes were left from previous people, my bed sheet had blood on it, the lotion had been opened already. And unfortunately there was a TON of rain and the ceiling got ruined right about the bed (it dripped on me a couple times)

Liked: The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was light but good.
Disliked: The channels advertised on the TV did not work. Only half of the channels were available.

Liked: Very clean; excellent staff; comfortable beds and rooms; convenient to Sylva, Waynesville, Dillsboro & Cherokee; nice pool area.
Disliked: Breakfast was not the greatest, but it was okay.

Liked: We planned to relax for 1 nite on our way to Harrah"s in Cherokee. The pricing was about the ONLY thing we liked.
Disliked: The check in was so frustrating! We were told...they did NOT have a pet friendly room that met our CONFIRMED request. I had previously called BEFOE & AFTER I booked as I explained. I even gave them Autumn's name who I spoke to in advance. So...now their remedy was to give us a non pet friendly room on the 3rd floor with elevator access thru the front lobby... was not acceptable to us. I asked for an alternative on the 1st floor so we SETTLED on a 2 queen bed room on 1st floor.. ( not a King Room as orig confirmed) The TV reception was horrible..no signal every 2 min. Our phones charge was only increased ever slowly..never more than 2 % per hour. Our dogs kept rolling their toys under the beds..and the retrieve revealed how filthy the room actually was... Lint , dog hair , kids , toys!? Really? The breakfast was pathetic... very little options...just install a snack vending machine...you might get more. Behind the smokes and mirrors of nice updated decor is a shame of a stay. The clerk at front desk was swamped with customers and she was the only one..Her name was Latiba. I had to ask for a print-out of what I finally ended up with as she initially did not ask my name and was quoting a different guests reservation. Not a relaxing stay...inexpensive room you get what you pay for! Lesson learned...shame on ME!
