It was an OK place...
Liked: The staff was friendly and the rooms were decent.
Disliked: The carpet in the room was old and it looked like it had stains, and perhaps bleach marks on them.Found a couple cockroaches, roaming the bathroom during the night. It seemed like guest that we’re arriving would slam the doors shut. No respect or regards for other guests that were trying to sleep.

It was a nice place...
Liked: The place was nice and big and clean
Disliked: It was extremely hot in the lobby and breakfast area. The ad said pool and free breakfast the pool was out of service and there was a sign that said we couldn't bring the breakfast to our rooms although there wasn't much to choose from and it was too hot downstairs to eat breakfast there. The staff although polite was very straight forward it didn't seem welcoming.

Liked: Location, decent price
Disliked: The pool was not available even after calling before I booked a month ago and was told it would be operational. The whole place was run down and the halls had a musty smell and no AC.

Good
Liked: Staff was wonderful, front desk very friendly. The layout of the hotel was really neat, with a few minor updates this hotel would more appealing. The fountain inside was really neat but not running, but if it were it would have added to the atmosphere of the inside.
Disliked: The pool was under maintenance so we couldn't use.

Worse Hotel Experience
Liked: The bed was very comfortable
Disliked: Place was not as advertised. There was no Continental Breakfast, carpets were old and separating, and roaches crawling everywhere in the bathroom, not to mention dead ones in the fridge. The flooring in the bathroom was not properly placed. Blankets were stained with what looked like pee stains, pull out bed was nasty and old, the whole place smelled moldy, elevator floor peeling as well as hallway floors. It looks like there might have been a flooding at one time because the flooring are warped. Very bad experience. We traveled from CA to look for property here in TX and had a bad stay.
