Clarion Pointe Huntsville Research Park

The bathtub was so old and yellow it did not look clean. It was a step-in tub with a shower curtain. The windows had broken slat blinds, which was a problem because all the doors faced to the parking lot. We did not unpack the car and we asked if we could get a refund to go somewhere else and since we booked through ConcertHotels, we could not. I am surprised this is a Clarion - I wish I had researched better.

Liked: The lady at the desk was nice.
Disliked: Yes, just dumpy.

Overall the hotel was great; cozy and easy to get around.

Liked: There was a pool!
Disliked: False advertising saying there was a jacuzzi in my room when there wasn’t.

The hotel was so clean and the room was big, clean and perfect. The breakfast was amazing. You can walk to stores and restaurants, and just a few minutes to the Orion by car.

Liked: Clean.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

Disliked: Mold on the sleeper sofa, items left in the bathroom from previous guest, stale musty smell in the room

Disliked: Bugs in the room. Too far from breakfast to walk for older people. Then have to walk outside and trash all over the place

Liked: rooms had reliable internet and general room service was not too bad. Window curtains were heavy enough for more privacy and protect direct sunlight in the room and in addition breakfast and food service people were wonderful.
Disliked: The floor carpet was sticky when you step on it bare footed I don't the reason why it was so, the side bedroom lights are old and very deam especially when you are in the table wanting to read something it affect the eyes. One of the ladies in the front desk didn't satisfactorily answer my questions as she seems to have an attitude I don't know why. Also, outside environment was filthy with weed smell coming from unknown direction in both side of the hotel.
