Clarion Hotel San Angelo near Convention Center

Even though we really like...

Liked: We like the location of the hotel, the size of the bathroom counter, the proximity of the bar, and the free breakfast.
Disliked: The television is almost impossible to figure out. There are two remotes and no instructions.

Disliked: The air conditioner had a strong mildew smell. I did report it at check out. Don’t know if they checked it.

This place was not worth...

Liked: The only good thing from our stay was the fact that it was close to the softball fields which was what we were here for.
Disliked: We arrived before check-in time and was told a room would probably be ready in about 30 minutes so we left and came back after check-in time and then was told rooms were still being cleaned and to leave my name and number and would get a call when ready. Waited, got the call, then when trying to enter our room our key did not work. When heading to the elevator to get the key looked at we heard housekeeping saying the room still needed cleaning. When we told front desk they tried confirming whether our room was actually clean or not they were asked to take the conversation off the walkie talkies and call the cell phone. Which made me feel like our room wasn’t actually clean but didn’t want us knowing. We then waited maybe 15 minutes and was told our room was clean and we were good to go. Attempted entering our room once again but the key still did not work but housekeeping let us in. The next morning after using the bathroom sink we noticed the water would not go down, notified front desk and was asked if we wanted maintenance to unclog it and I said yes but maintenance never came by. We also noticed orange/redish stains on the comforter. The breakfast looks bad. Bacon was undercooked, eggs looked old and dry, there was no juice most of the time.
