Clarion Hotel Airport Portland

Liked: Clean rooms and quiet.
Disliked: For the price paid there should have been a complimentary breakfast - even cheaper hotels offer that.

Quick taxi/Uber ride to Old Port. Great location, room was clean and quiet.

Liked: Quiet; clean; on site parking.
Disliked: Bar doesn't open until 4p.m.

Nice place. Comfortable bed, clean, spacious, convenient, affordable. We will return.

Wouldn’t stay again

Disliked: Room wasn’t clean, there were long black hairs on the bed comforter and the floors were heavily stained. Any empty tissue box was in the bathroom.

Disliked: No way to transport luggage up to rooms. Front desk person acted like they couldn’t be bothered with anything.

Liked: we loved the room , check in was very easy, the Clarion employees were very helpful, we loved the size of the poolvery nice it stayed open til10pm
Disliked: the hot tub was on the small size but worked very well, the towels provided were rather small .needed to be bigger the elevator is a little slow, but their are stairs very close by if your in a hurry

Ok hotel if you stay...

Liked: Close to the coach stop from Boston. So very good position. Not too far from the town center with taxi/Uber is about 10 min
Disliked: The hotel in itself is quite old. I would say probably end of the 80's it sure needs a makeover. Receptionists were super weird. When I arrived the man at the front desk didn't say nothing just handed me the key of the room, after he check my pass and my name. No info about the breakfast, the swimming pool, nothing. Also they should charge you 350$ as a deposit, which will be refunded (in 2 weeks time) but I got charged 600$. Which I don't know why, there as well when I asked they only said you will be refounded. I asked for a taxi, they looked at me like:"Why can you do it yourself?" I explained that I didn't have an American Sim card. In the end I had to do it myself anyway. So this was probably the most disappointing part of the experience.

Liked: I liked the proximity to the downtown area. It was clean and the room was very comfortable.
Disliked: The check in agent was very polite and had excellent hospitality skills.
