Liked: Nice rooms with good view,good breakfast, excellent staff, dinner included in the price
Disliked: Dinner options were a little bit restricted ; expected a little bit more choice than only one main course

Excellent choice for Stavanger

Disliked: The fried fish offering on one night was very disappointing.

A noisy stay, not value...

Liked: The room was larger than I had expected and the view was good . The staff were very nice and the room was clean.The shower was roomy and the water was hot with good pressure. The toiletries were quite good. There is free coffee available in the lobby.
Disliked: The fan in the ensuite would not shut off and it was extremely noisy all night long making sleep difficult.The receptionist tried, but there was nothing he could do to resolve the problem. He offered me another room but unfortunately there was some sort of machinery or generator making a loud hum in this room also. I didn't get much sleep. In addition, the mattress in the room I was in was tired and not very supportive. The pillows were very soft and flat, a bit marshmallowy. I had paid for dinner in advance but because it is served only until 8pm, and I arrived at 8.45pm, I had to pay extra as a late fee. I was served a lukewarm plate of vegetables covered in cling film/saranwrap. There is a set menu for dinner each day so it can be difficult if one doesn't eat pork or beef.

Disliked: No safety deposit in room, no Kleenex/tissues in bath , afternoon tea time was pathetic with one tiny piece a cake. The wonderful dinner buffet advertised was not a buffet -one entree and a couple of salads —none really good.
