Liked: The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. We liked the fact that the hotel had retained some of its original features, especially the mirror that survived the bombing in WW2. Staff were welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and also the tea and cakes in the afternoon. It has a very central and convenient location.
Disliked: We were quite disappointed with the evening meal, as there was less choice than we expected and it was rather dull. Tho that wasn't a huge problem really!

Excellent except for weekend breakfast...

Liked: Enjoyed the breakfast, fika and dinner. There is no need to book and pay for the hotel's garage car park as there are public car parks right in front of the hotel that becomes free parking from 4pm to 8am. That's if you are only parking your car during those hours. Otherwise, the hotel garage is fine but book early as there are less than 10 lots.
Disliked: On weekdays the hotel serves breakfast from 6.30am, BUT on weekends, breakfast is only served from 7.30am!!! You cannot catch the 8am ferry to Lofoten at all if breakfast is only served at 7.30am!!! We could only catch the 11am ferry because we wanted to have the hotel buffet breakfast. Please have the breakfast served at 6.30am on ALL DAYS!!!

Fantastic breakfast and great location

Liked: Nice hotel in the centre of Bodø. The dinner was ok, but the breakfast was truly exceptional! Friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Shower is a bit cramped, and the floor around the toilet gets wet while showering. The parking was a bit overpriced considering you can park on the street overnight. Charging separately for the gym was also surprising.

Liked: Good breakfast with lots of variety. Comfortable room and very friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: The inclusive half board deal is very very good value for money, but I felt the dinner menu could have had more choice.
