Liked: The area is really nice and calm. Charming facade.
Disliked: Although we have booked a double room for two adults and a kid (of 8), upon arrival we were made to pay extra NOK 350 per night for placing an additional bed for the kid. Otherwise, we were expected to sleep all in one double bed 160 cm large. Besides, the bathroom (1.50 m x 1.50 m), which comprised a douche, a tiny lavabo and a toilet, was totally uncomfortable. A three-night stay resulted in a number of bruises since we were constantly bumping into something. Neither the room nor the bathroom bear any similarities with the photos advertising the hotel. The room was shabby with cables crossing all the walls, badly needing renovation. Since we arrived late, when the dinner was over, despite having requested a packed dinner, we were offered some cold leftovers. The dinner proved to be very poor with only one main course and a selection of a few types of salads. On one of the evenings the main meat dish was over in no time and was replaced by small meat balls. No dessert is served for dinner. The rooms are not cleaned every day. If one wishes to have their room cleaned they should warn the reception at least the previous day. The hotel is definitely overrated, in reality it does not deserve more than 3 stars.
