Disliked: The choice of food at night for people who need gluten-free food on the Sunday night was very poorThe cooked food at breakfast on Monday night was cold - like it had just been taken out of the fridge! It was inedible.

Very welcoming hotel

Liked: Loved the concept of the hotel. Very welcoming. Lovely staff. Meals provided were fabulous.
Disliked: On Saturday evening music from a bar or another hotel permeated our room on the 2nd floor. The thumping music was dreadful and went on til past 2am - no sleep was had and we felt dreadful the next day. If this is a regular occurrence I would not stay on a Saturday evening.

Liked: Faded character. Lovely staff. Nice food, especially breakfast.
Disliked: It seemed a lot more luxurious a decade or so ago. A little tatty now. But then they are doing it up. A byproduct of that was the fact that several skips were loaded and removed, deafeningly, right outside our window at 6.30am.
