Liked: Avocado Chalet was clean and comfy. Enjoyed the rural aspect, including relaxing in front of the fireplace.

Surrounded by the birds

Liked: Away from the noise (location is quite remote from town so you need to drive for everything but that s what offers you the calm). Garden is beautiful and you get to hear a lot of birds. Matrass was very good (not too soft and in good shape). The room had a 'cachet' with its old stylle furniture (no ikea room). You have access to the laundry room.
Disliked: Our studio was a bit dark. The small courtyard in frpnt of it is also envlosed in the vegetation preventing from seeing the garden. Wifi wasnt working on our arrival but the owner fixed it for the 2nd night. Yet it s pretty slow and as there is no telstra coverage there, you cant work digital there. The property is for sale so you can feel a certain disinterest in the running of the business (we only met the owner cause there was a long lasting powercut in the morning otherwise you r on your own).

Pleasant

Liked: Lovely clean chalet, a good sized place.
Disliked: Nonexistent to extremely poor WiFi coverage; couldn't get access to my emails on my laptop. Also no mobile phone connection, which made it impossible to book next stay, check out weather etc.

Charming retreat

Liked: We chose the location as it was away from the hustle and bustle of town. It was secluded and seemingly peaceful in natural surroundings, spacious and charming with pleasant decor and gardens.
Disliked: On the Saturday night, the venue next door (Apple Farm) held a function with excessively loud music until midnight. Turning up the TV was not enough to drown out the noise. We rang our host and he said there’s nothing he could do about it. We wish we were warned of this beforehand. Bring earplugs!

Pretty good if not for...

Liked: I’ve stayed here before and I like how it feels homey
Disliked: Unfortunately the people renting the chalets next to us were very loud and disturbed our sleep. Also not a fan of the couch, for some reason the couch cushions just slide right off when you sit on them

Liked: Quite location
Disliked: rubbish left in the bin from previous stay. towel wasn’t clean. Dust on table.

Pleasant

Liked: Quite cute, and very comfy bed.
Disliked: Could not shower due to the ants nest behind the bath/shower coming out of the jets for the spa.
