Great place to stay

Liked: When we first arrived at the motel we were placed in a room that was a little bit outdated and we had difficulty sleeping at night because the heater was very loud when it ran. We also had issues with the toiletWe contacted the owner-operator and they were so very accommodating and moved us into such a great room. It truly was a wonderful relaxing experience for us

Disliked: Disgusting attitude towards customers!!! You are being misled when providing the rooms you ordered. We booked a room with a kitchen with stove through booking.com. However, upon arrival they refused to provide us with a room with a kitchen. They said that a room with a kitchen is only available for stays of 4 days or more. This information was not available when booking. For us, having a kitchen was a fundamental factor. Since we arrived in the evening, we had to stay one night. We contacted the hotel owner several times. However, before you check in, they send you an SMS saying that they are always in touch, but in fact, after you check in, you won’t be able to contact anyone. They refused to refund the money for the unused night. Nobody responded to our messages. Only through Bookingcom they replied that they would not refund anything. We have stayed here before. We also spent three days trying to find someone who would give us fresh towels. In fact, we don't recommend doing this. You are being misled when booking rooms. There is simply no soundproofing. And if you come across some neighbors having fun, you are guaranteed a sleepless night. The toilet actually didn't work. It is impossible to sleep on the pillows.

Clarence Inn - a clean...

Liked: Great location. I liked the self check-in. We got a text stating that our room was ready, 3 hours before the published check-in time! And the key and receipt were ready in the room when we arrived (no office visit needed). The owner happened to be outside when we pulled in, and greeted us.I found the coffee from the drip coffee machine to be remarkably good.
Disliked: A couple of things. The TV kept pixellating, and we could not figure out how to turn on the shower. I left a note stating that, and hopefully next time we wouldn't experience those issues.

Good budget motel if you’re...

Liked: Location was good with lots of parking. Wi-Fi worked well.
Disliked: The room is definitely dated and the bathroom was clean but so old it felt dirty even though it wasn’t.
