Disliked: The rooms are tiny and dated and you could wash your feet in the shower whilst sitting on the toilet. See photos.The tall bar man with glasses was very rude. Had an attitude when we returned to the bar, demanding to see our room key. The smaller bar man asked a guest in a nice manner explaining it was policy to ask due to serving residents only but the tall one was plain rude.We only paid for breakfast on the first morning thankfully as it was awful. We were seated 10 minutes before I approached a waitress to ask where we could get tea and orange juice. She then took our order for the only option... 2 cooked breakfasts which arrived in under a minute. The food was all cold, the hashbrowns and the toast were both severely burnt and inedible.

Liked: The location was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and listened and tried to resolve my issues.
Disliked: The price was extortionate for the tiredness of the hotel. Where the previous wallpaper had been taken off you could see the embossed pattern left on the wall. The tiles were all mismatched in the tiny bathroom. Where an old shower had been taken off there were big sections of filler, holes and further mis matching of materials. The top of the toilet was yellowing. The toilet roll holder was missing parts. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything from adjoining rooms. Dogs were allowed in the hotel and there was a very un pleasant yappy dog in the bar garden. No regard for the environment with single use shampoo and soap sachets and breakfast condiments etc.
