Unfussy and affordable, Claremont Motor Lodge is a no-frills stay ideal for concert-goers looking for comfort and convenience. Set in the heart of Claremont, NH, this classic roadside-style lodge offers easy access to several area venues and attractions like Mount Ascutney and Quechee Gorge. With free WiFi, private parking, and air-conditioned rooms, it’s a practical home base for music fans on the move.
Concert-goers appreciate the quiet post-show atmosphere and the lodge's location that’s just a short drive from regional venues. The simple check-in at 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM gives music fans enough time to rest and recover after a late night. With free parking and easy highway access, getting to and from shows is a breeze—even if you're catching a late one.
While the Claremont Motor Lodge doesn’t offer on-site dining, you’re close to several local eateries perfect for grabbing a bite before or after a show. Guests recommend nearby diners and takeout spots, with late-night options a short drive away. No breakfast service is available, but coffee shops and cafes in town open early enough for a morning pick-me-up.
Though the lodge itself is quiet, you're within reach of Claremont’s small-town nightlife. A few bars and taverns nearby offer live music nights and local brews. It’s a low-key scene—but ideal if you’re looking to keep the night going without straying too far.
Don't expect luxury—this is a basic roadside lodge. Some guests mentioned that the décor is dated, and there’s no daily housekeeping. Also, if you're relying on public transport or want walkable nightlife, you might find the location a bit remote. But for driving concert-goers, it's a solid choice.
For affordable comfort near New Hampshire’s concert venues, Claremont Motor Lodge is a reliable and quiet spot to crash after the encore.

Passable
Liked: The front desk staff (I think the manager) was very friendly and upgraded me to a king-sized room. The room itself was very spacious, including the bathroom. It felt like a luxury for one person! It also got a good amount of light. Location was good: near the Saint-Gaudens park, downtown Claremont/plenty of restaurants, and the longest covered bridge that goes to Vermont.
Disliked: When I entered, the room was very musty. I blasted the AC and that helped a bit, but it was deeply unpleasant. The room itself was clean, but there was a significant amount of mold on the bathroom ceiling. I also didn't like that because there was a light right outside my door, at night it attracted a ton of bugs and I had to fight through them to get through without them getting in the room. There were some HUGE bugs!
