Set in the heart of Claremont, NH, this classic roadside-style lodge offers easy access to several area venues and attractions like Mount Ascutney and Quechee Gorge. With free WiFi, private parking, and air-conditioned rooms, it’s a practical home base for music fans on the move.

Why Concert-goers love it

Concert-goers appreciate the quiet post-show atmosphere and the lodge's location that’s just a short drive from regional venues. The simple check-in at 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM gives music fans enough time to rest and recover after a late night. With free parking and easy highway access, getting to and from shows is a breeze—even if you're catching a late one.

Food and Drink Options

While the Claremont Motor Lodge doesn’t offer on-site dining, you’re close to several local eateries perfect for grabbing a bite before or after a show. Guests recommend nearby diners and takeout spots, with late-night options a short drive away. No breakfast service is available, but coffee shops and cafes in town open early enough for a morning pick-me-up.

Nightlife Options

Areas for Improvement

Don't expect luxury—this is a basic roadside lodge. Some guests mentioned that the décor is dated, and there’s no daily housekeeping. Also, if you're relying on public transport or want walkable nightlife, you might find the location a bit remote. But for driving concert-goers, it's a solid choice.

The Bottom Line

For affordable comfort near New Hampshire’s concert venues, Claremont Motor Lodge is a reliable and quiet spot to crash after the encore.

It was good.

Liked: It was cheap. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
Disliked: It wasn't in walking distance of anything. The pull out bed had clearly not been pulled out in a long time.

Below My Expectations

Liked: Convenient to where I needed to be. Staff was courteous. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows.
Disliked: It's an older motor lodge that's had a face lift with fresh paint. Was mostly clean, not as clean as I'd have liked it to be. Unfortunately, our room smelled musty/moldy. I'd have asked for another room, but I thought they'd probably all be the same. The funky stink followed us on our sweaters! I didn't like the dark stain on the curtain or on my comforter. Took it off the bed and the end of the blanket at the foot of the bed has a fresh cigarette burn. The edges were still crunchy. Made sure I explained to the office not to blame me for it. The TV on the wall was super loose and hangs lopsided. The 2nd bed in the room, really couldn't see it. Unless I really have no choice, and the funky smell is gone, I don't think I would stay here again.

Find another place.

Disliked: I was rather upset when at 8:30 on a Sunday morning, while sleeping, we were awoken by loud noise in the adjourning room, 102. It wasn't the guests who caused this noise, but management, who was doing some major work in the room. When I spoke to him about it and let him know he woke us out of a sound sleep, his comment was sorry. Although we now have reason to be in this area from time to time, we will never stay here again.

Great value a half hour...

Liked: The room appeared to be recently redecorated. All of the furniture was very nice and clean. The room had a kitchenette with a full stove, plus all the typical things you'd expect in a motel. The outside appearance of the Motel had us a little nervous, but the room was lovely.
Disliked: The location is outside of Claremont proper, so there is nothing within walking distance, but its a short drive to town. We could hear our neighbors through the bathroom wall (they weren't being loud, just thin walls), but the bedroom proper was quiet.
