lobby is wonderful..

Liked: Highlight was the breakfast for me..The girl "manager, I am gessing" in the bar, was also fantastic.. great customer care and attention to detail 👌
Disliked: Strange smell in the bedroom, as if there was damp carpet 🤔 not sure but not really nice as you enter the room..Realy lovely looking hotel, especially the..ok, for the money all the same..

Loved the whole experience, beautiful...

Liked: I loved the room I stayed in, very comfortable and a great selection of tea & coffee with biscuits which was a welcomed bonus. The gym had all i needed and luckily was very quiet when i attended. The breakfast was absolutely delicious as well.
Disliked: I wasnt too near the town as i had to drive in. It only took less than 10 mins to drive in but it would have taken roughly 40 - 50 mins id imagine to walk it.

Liked: I have stayed here a few times before. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We love using the pool and thermal facilities. The location is good and the attached bar is a bonus. Staff in the bar are very fresh and efficient

Liked: Good choice… and they had decaf tea, which isn’t everywhere! Would have loved melon but… that’s expecting too much
Disliked: I found the pillows awful. Just too hard and I found it impossible to sleep. Got just 2 hours sleep.

Awful Stay

Liked: The location was decent with ample parking
Disliked: There was a musty smell in the room, which I later found was coming from a fridge that can't have been cleaned for a long time. Half of the lights did not workThe office chair for the desk did not raise as the gas lift was not working, it also had more than a few cuts and tears.The grouting in the bathroom and around the shower was black.There were splashes of dirt going up the walls.My favourite part was the blood on the foot of the duvet sheet.The breakfast was ok at best, my first sip of coffee was met with a literal coffee bean in my mouth. The pitcher of "milk" conveniently located right beside the cereals turned out to be room temperature cream. The pudding wasn't great, sausages didn't taste like any sausage I've ever eaten. The beans were grand though to be fair.I have never wanted to check out of a hotel faster than here. None of this was mentioned at checkout as we just wanted to get out and leave this place behind. For €195 a night you would be much better off anywhere else.
