Liked: Great location, close to train and bus services. Food shops close by .
Disliked: The heated towel rail couldn't be turned off and made the bathroom too hot, especially in the middle of summer! The floors were squeaky when you walked around the room. They stated there was a breakfast coffee shop on the premises, but it was office space now!

Good place for a quick...

Liked: The automated entry worked well. The room had everything I needed for my short stay. The small fan in the room made the night bearable, once the temperature came down, along with being able to open the windows. The location was great being right on the tube station. Not too noisy on the 3rd floor either.
Disliked: The room was very hot. Admittedly I stayed in a heatwave so it would be hotter than normal. The finish was a little rough with old fixings holes left with the wall plugs showing and the sink was cracked (just affected the look and was still safe). The hand soap was empty, but the one in the shower was available, so nothing major.

Liked: Great location directly outside Borough Tube Station with a great pub and outdoor seating next door.
Disliked: N/a

Uncomfortable

Disliked: Carpet was very badly stained. Property smelled bad. Room was swelteringly hot, with only a tiny, ineffectual fan. Rooms were not serviced during the stay.

Cheap but clean.

Liked: Room was very clean and the location was alright with easy access to the underground.
Disliked: Fire alarm went off at 5 am, from an overflowing toilet on the 3rd floor. Its one of these practically staffless hotels which relies on phone check ins so it took around 35/45 mins for anyone to show up and resolve it or turn off the alarm. Whilst everyone in the hotel stayed outside in the cold at 5am. When someone arrived, they explained that obviously it wasn't there fault because the toilet that overflowed was a shared bathroom which was overflowing in the middle of the night and no one alerted them. I don't know who anyone could have alerted because I didn't see any staff. In reality an apology would have sufficed for the inconvenience.

Liked: The location was ideal. It's literally right next to the tube station. It was quiet and peaceful during the night. The room was tidy and very warm.
Disliked: One downside was no lift, but it was alright as I was aware of it beforehand.
