Fantastic location and comfy room

Liked: Great location, comfy bed, full kitchen.
Disliked: I expected traffic noise as it’s right in town, however did not expect to be woken up by a windblower at 11.30 at night which lasted half an hour as they went up and down the street. Nothing to do with Hotel, more of a council issue. Rang noise control.

Council Late Night Cleaning Spoiled...

Liked: First stay in several years. Easy check in, friendly, polite and professional staff. Room was a good size, well laid out and very well-equipped. Second bathroom was appreciated.Furniture was comfortable. Bedding clean, and beds very comfortable. Would love to return, but think carefully about room location.
Disliked: Curtains in the main bedroom did not meet in the middle, leading to light entering the room.Although not the fault of the hotel, who noted previous similar complaints, council cleaning work took place around 10.30 - 11.00pm both nights. Extremely loud, as rooms not double glazed. Seems unnecessary. Some noise, particularly since we chose a city centre location, should be expected, but this did not contribute to a relaxing stay.
