Premium hostel for those who...

Liked: The hotel is exactly like the photos and the shared bathroom areas are exceptional. The service is very friendly and check-in is easy and automated. The location is very good, close to shops and transport. I thought it would be noisy, but it was very quiet and they accommodated my request to put us in the quietest area possible (we were right at the back, which was great).
Disliked: I had read two points in some reviews (and confirmed them): the first is that the pillows are bad, some parts have too much filling and others have too little. The second point is that the temperature can only be regulated with external resources such as an extra fan. Amsterdam is an expensive city, but I thought the cost-benefit could be a little better. It is expensive for a shared space.

Liked: Really good value, excellent location next to Foodhallen and close to transport links. Staff were really friendly and knowledgable. Bathrooms were nice considering they were shared. Easy check in/check out process
Disliked: Rooms definitely aren’t sound proof which is to be expected, so I would recommend bringing some loop earphones to drown out noise. Rooms are a bit cramped for two people but would be perfect for one person
