City Square Motel

Liked: We have stayed here 3 times so far, am currently planning another trip next month as well as another 2 in the coming months and all will be with City Square. Staff are friendly and helpful, facilities are more than enough for us a family of 6, they have always tried their best to have our rooms close together which for us has been huge. Beds are super comfy, location is insane how amazing it is! Would not stay anywhere else if I could help it.

Liked: Spacious room overlooking Swanston St through tree branches: effort has been made to spruce up the room and the furnishings - successfully! Bed is super comfortable with good linen. Extra heater was a nice touch: great bathroom- immaculate shower & toilet. Adequate bath linen.
Disliked: Grouting around basin looks like it is being repaired - it needs it : bathroom floor could do with a scrub around the corners, but not dramatic..

Disliked: Not much, it was filthy, they need to buy a vacuum cleaner, mould remover, a mop and other cleaning products

Terrible

Convenient location at reasonable price.

Liked: Bedside light bulb was too dull to read a book (when in bed and main light off). A brighter bulb would easily resolve this issue.
Disliked: Windows don’t stay open (need to be chocked) and definitely need to be cleaned.
