Pleasant slightly retro hotel

Liked: A small, pleasant hotel with very friendly staff. The room and bathroom were unexpectedly spacious and spotlessly clean, but unfortunately the furniture and textiles were clearly well past their prime. The room had a slight retro vibe, but it was comfortable. It is possible that other rooms have already been renovated. We appreciated the staff's willingness to help when we asked if we could make tea and were immediately given a kettle to use in our room. Breakfast is partly in the form of a prepared plate (two options—with or without meat), but it is tasty and sufficient. There was no problem storing our luggage after check-out. There is a very tasty kebab place on the street nearby.
Disliked: I mentioned the slight feeling of shabbiness of the room, but otherwise we had no problems. The hotel is a little outside the city center, but it is close to the train station and the Residenz.

Liked: It was close to the city centrum. It was newly renovated (but had a bad room odor).
Disliked: The layout of the hotel was not so good. There were no elevators! There is no air conditioning. The streets and apartments around the hotel are not quiet (windows had to be open because it was so hot). Windows did not have screens or roladin. Parking was very challenging!!
