Liked: Great location if you plan to attend a concert at Velodrom. It's within walking distance and easily accessible by tram.
Disliked: The facilities could be updated, especially bathrooms. Some dust and dirt can be seen.

City Basil Faulty East

Liked: I recently stayed at City Berlin East, and I have to say, the experience was disappointing. The only redeeming qualities were the friendly staff, who were always helpful,Unfortunately, everything else fell flat. The hotel is miles from any interesting attractions, making it feel isolated and inconvenient. The rooms were clean but lacked coffee-making facilities. The restaurant was closed for renovation, so there was no food available. It was outdated and patchy in places. I had high hopes for a comfortable stay, but I found myself frustrated by the location and lacklustre amenities.Absolutely! The best advice for anyone considering City Berlin East is to pay a little extra for a hotel closer to the city centre. You'll have better access to attractions, and dining options, and a more comfortable stay overall. It’s worth it for a proper experience in Berlin!
Disliked: Everything about this hotel was disappointing. The only positive thing I would say is that the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liked: Breakfast was good, catering to varied tastes of people. Especially when I fell very sick they allowed my brother to bring me juice and coffee to my room. The staff was lovely! The rooms were good, airy, house cleaning staff exceptionally quick and wonderful.

Liked: It was cheap for a city centre hotel and plenty of parking available.
Disliked: We booked this as a quick overnighter in Berlin. From the pictures it looks quite a modern and slick hotel so we thought we were getting a deal. On arrival the place is pretty dated and surrounded by a lot empty units. I'm sure at one time it was quite a good location but now it's tired and felt out of the city. The rooms were passable, clean and comfortable enough but it wasn't at all the slick business looking hotel the photos seem to suggest. It's also really hard to find the entrance as nothing was clearly signposted. Even the main entrance was hidden away.

Liked: The room was as pictured. Comfortable and spacious. Good area which amenities close by.
Disliked: Unfortunately when we first arrived our room wasn’t dressed properly. We were lacking a sheet. The bathroom soap also wasn’t refilled once empty.
