It served its purpose but...

Liked: The location was perfect for my time in Melbourne as I was having surgery at Epworth Freemasons and my mother needed to stay locally to assist. The staff were lovely.
Disliked: It felt dirty, the hairdryer was faulty (went bright red like it was going to explode/catch fire) then instantly cut off. The heat pump appeared to never have been cleaned. The linen was good but the room didn’t feel clean. We requested a ground floor room as I needed to stay there post leg op and my mother couldn’t manage stairs well. This was accommodated after my explanation in the booking but what we didn’t know until we arrived was that there were quite a few stairs to get to the ground floor from the road

Liked: The place was great, I booked and asked for certain things all needs were met, they even let me check in early outside of my designated times, nice staff, and easy straight forward setup, also very affordable in a central location close to the night life, will be staying again next time I come to Melbourne and so should youm

Poor

Disliked: The hotel showed a lack of professionalism. On the first day, when they said there was no power at the property, they arranged another accommodation for me, which made me think they were committed and responsible. However, the refund process was extremely delayed and they seemed very resistant about it.In the end, they did refund me, but only after a long wait and much insistence. This lack of transparency and efficiency caused a lot of stress and frustration. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Don’t stay there

Liked: Location and it has parking
Disliked: Very old and Dirty. Smells like cigarettes even though receptionist said she “couldn’t smell it”, dodgy and junkie people in the building. It is quite expensive compared to other good places that are centrally located and clean
