Not great for solo travellers.

Liked: I liked the outdoor terrace area. The location was fairly good. It was a 20 minute walk to the major attractions in Brisbane, such as good restaurants and activities.
Disliked: The rooms and kitchen were small and not the cleanest (it wasn’t so dirty that it was an issue though). The hostel didn’t have much going on in terms of social activities, so probably not great for a solo traveller looking to make friends.

Very good

Liked: Staff soooo friendly, I love them.. Even share bathroom, but very clean. Same goes to kitchen.
Disliked: Quite noisy as the room near to reception. But they provide earplugs which consider good.

Liked: Really great location, very central. Great outdoor space to chill out, great views of the city. Booked 4 beds in a 8 bed mixed dorm but staff said we booked a 4 bed female dorm. Worked out okay as it was only the 4 of us in the room
Disliked: Staff came into our room multiple times while we were out, staff took belongings from our room and left a notice about our room being messy. We were shocked that the staff could come into our room freely when it wasn’t shared with other hostel members. Was disappointed with the lack of privacy

Disliked: Not very soundproof - quite noisy

Disliked: Black mold in the showers, keycard reader for the room broke in the evening and was not fixed until late the next morning, no curtains on the beds or charging sockets near them
