Best value for money place...

Liked: The communal area is brilliant, possibly one of the best in a hostel in Brisbane, and the staff are so helpful and friendly, I’ve rebooked shortly after trying a different hostel.
Disliked: Simply that the facilities aren’t as nice as they could be. My bunk bed’s ladder was bent and crooked, the showers aren’t brilliant but they get the job done. That’s it for things I didn’t like. Everything else was great, and the hostel staff helped with any other issues I had very promptly.

Good

Liked: Close to Suncorp arena. Value for money
Disliked: A lot of noise when trying to sleep during the weekend. Some people seemed to live in the dorm so only top bunks seemed to be available.

Bad

Cheap and central

Liked: Central, cheap, nice outdoor area
Disliked: Uncomfortable metal bunk ladders, meaning you had to out shoes on to climb up and down. Shower and toilet block quite run down.

Average

Liked: Was a lovely property, staff were friendly the cafe only offers drinks but got some good breakfast recommendations from the lady there.
Disliked: Not great signage to find rooms and a bit of a maze when you first get there, wandered around for 10mins trying to figure out where my room was, downstairs showers need better water pressure but that’s pretty standard. Only real issue was how loud the other guests were and the hostel isn’t to blame for that
