Cheap & cheerful

Liked: Warm room, hot shower comfortable bed.
Disliked: Parking an issue.

Was a nice Easter break

Liked: Decent breakfast with plenty of seats. Location good right by the sea front and about 10 mins from town and train station

Superb

Vary good and excellent value...

Liked: Able to book for one night, paid extra for breakfast which was excellent value for money. Staff all very cheerful and helpful will be booking again
Disliked: an extra grab rail in the bath would be useful when using shower

Hotel was ok, did what...

Liked: Location was good. Staff weee friendly.
Disliked: The window wouldn’t close & it was quite windy.

Exceptional

Liked: Comfortable beds. Very spacious room. Very helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Staff, size of room and location of hotel.
Disliked: Some locals (appeared a big difference in people - with nice houses and normality then drug users and suspicious activity).There could have been some meat on offer at. Breakfast.

Disappointment

Liked: Location, price, unobstructed wi-fi access.
Disliked: I've had a mixed experience with Citrus Hotel over the past seven years. Some lovely rooms, some not-good-at-all. This, unfortunately was the latter. Problem 1a - The kind of "matchbox bathroom" with a tightly cramped toilet which obliges guests to take an Immodium before arriving, to avoid risking health and personal hygiene. Problem 1b - No door separating bathroom from "bedroom", increasing chances of smoke alarm being set off when one is bathing. Problem 2 - Cold, draughty - draught coming from windows which cannot be securely closed (presumably this can be blamed on imaginary health and safety regulations?!) Problem 3 - Still no disabled access in reception/entrance (stairs only).
