Smart, Stylish Comfort in Seattle’s Historic Core

Modern, artistic, and tech-savvy, citizenM Seattle Pioneer Square sits in one of Seattle’s most atmospheric neighborhoods. Just steps from top attractions and live music venues, it blends cool design with practical comforts. Expect sleek, compact rooms with smart controls via iPad, sea views in select rooms, and a lively communal vibe in the shared lounge and bar.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel is a dream base for music fans. It’s walking distance to venues like CenturyLink Field and King Street Station, making post-show travel a breeze. With a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage, you can come and go as your concert schedule demands. The rooms are surprisingly quiet for a downtown spot, perfect for a restful night after a loud gig.

The tech-forward touches like in-room iPads and mood lighting are a hit with younger travelers. Many mention the location as a huge plus for concerts, sightseeing, and dining.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms are compact—great for sleeping, but not ideal for spreading out. If you’re traveling with lots of gear or sharing with friends, be ready to get cozy. Some guests noted the area can feel a bit quiet at night, though most appreciate the peaceful post-show vibe.

The Bottom Line

Very good

Liked: Location was good. Room was very tiny, ok for one person. When my husband joined me room was too small. A refrigerator drawer is not a refrigerator! That was a big down fall of expectations for sure. And to have such a great breakfast buffet, and use powdered eggs was a horrible choice on their part. So very disappointed with the eggs. It caused serious stomach issues.
Disliked: In the previous comment.

The bed was so comfortable,...

Liked: The staff was incredibly helpful with whatever we needed and went above and beyond. The bed was so comfortable and huge, the blackout curtains were a lovely touch and the shower pressure was great. The location was central to many places we wanted to check out as well as being walking distance from Lumen field and T-mobile park. Tons of cool area ND decor around.
Disliked: The bathroom is a glass pod inside the main room and not a separate room so there isn't a ton of privacy and the door to it did not completely close so would stay slightly cracked open. The room is pretty small, apart from the bed, so can feel quite cozy but for 1-3 nights it's great.

Fun euro style hotel with...

Liked: Staff great, young, cheerful and helpful. Common areas really comfortable and attractive—great selection of books to borrow, nice cafe area, and really great location walkable or free shuttle to many things you would want to see in Seattle. Right on Alaska Way and Seattle’s renovated waterfront, lots of cafes, coffee shops easily accessible. Easy check in and out.
Disliked: Very euro sized with bed and felt a bit cramped with some oddities like shower door opening in. No ability to make coffee or tea in room, so forced to go out or go down to common areas with cafe—you could look at this either way, but I do like the ability to brew a cup in my room.
