Smart, Stylish Comfort in Seattle’s Historic Core

Modern, artistic, and tech-savvy, citizenM Seattle Pioneer Square sits in one of Seattle’s most atmospheric neighborhoods. Just steps from top attractions and live music venues, it blends cool design with practical comforts. Expect sleek, compact rooms with smart controls via iPad, sea views in select rooms, and a lively communal vibe in the shared lounge and bar.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel is a dream base for music fans. It’s walking distance to venues like CenturyLink Field and King Street Station, making post-show travel a breeze. With a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage, you can come and go as your concert schedule demands. The rooms are surprisingly quiet for a downtown spot, perfect for a restful night after a loud gig.

Who this Hotel is great for

Food and Drink Options

The in-house bar is a chill spot for a nightcap, and you're just a short walk from Pioneer Square’s buzzing food scene if you’re craving late-night bites. What People Say

Guests rave about the modern, well-designed rooms, the easy check-in process (often via app or self-service kiosk), and the welcoming communal areas. The tech-forward touches like in-room iPads and mood lighting are a hit with younger travelers. Many mention the location as a huge plus for concerts, sightseeing, and dining.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms are compact—great for sleeping, but not ideal for spreading out. If you’re traveling with lots of gear or sharing with friends, be ready to get cozy. Some guests noted the area can feel a bit quiet at night, though most appreciate the peaceful post-show vibe.

The Bottom Line

I would stay here again!

Liked: The hotel was super cool. Good for one person or a couple , or close friends. The bed takes up almost half the room haha, and it’s only accessible from one side. So if you’re elderly, it might not be a good option for you. But we loved it and the bed was very comfortable, love that it was a king size.

10/10!

Liked: Beautiful city/water view, great location. I felt safe here. I like how everything is controlled through the iPad; lights/ blinds/ curtains, temp! The lobby is very beautiful and cozy. The bar is great.
Disliked: Pay extra for water view.

A fun, new place to...

Liked: Staff members (ambassadors, they call them) were exceptional and the location was great for visiting the waterfront. Hotel is very close to Pioneer Square station. The bed was really comfortable and I liked the added touches of blackout blinds, frosted glass shower with multi-colored lights.
Disliked: Technology is great….when it works! Rooms come with an iPad to control lights, blinds, tv etc. For whatever reason it would not turn on the tv and the remote was no where to be found. The ambassador (staff member) did a restart but it didn’t fix the problem. Also, the shower area is rather small and easy to bump the walls. This didn’t bother me but it might bother someone who is claustrophobic.
