I've stayed at citizenM before...

Liked: The location was good but did get loud at night. The hotel is nicely appointed and very clean.
Disliked: My iPad did not work for the two days I was there. I informed the staff but nothing was done about it.

Liked: Staff are very responsive and helpful
Disliked: Room changed once from 406 to 606 when first checked in because air conditioning dripping water to the bench and floor. Same issue happened in Rm 606 water dripping continuously at midnight in the second night stay. Required to put several towels on floor to stop water wetting our luggage. Reported to hotel staff at 5am. Moreover water leaked from shower screen to room timber floor during bath in the first night stay. Our suitcase was wet. Required several towels to clean the floor. Night hotel staff responded and sent in extra towels. When checked out hotel staff said leaking issues were reported and promised to arrange refund. Hopefully it does happen🙏We expected happy hospitality NOT cleaning wet floors on both night stays. Hotel should fix the air conditioning issues before putting rooms for rent.

Liked: Location was excellent. Plenty of restaurants, bars, terrasses. Walkable distance to Chatelet / opera / galeries Lafayette. Easy to access public transport.
Disliked: A/C was noisy and had to change room.

A home away from home...

Liked: I've stayed at other Citizen M properties, but the staff were what made this one special. Interesting and friendly employees made me feel at home. The breakfast is good, if pricey; the location on a side street was convenient; the lobby has a fun vibe and the rooms are perfect for a solo traveler.
