We stayed at the Citizen M in downtown LA for a concert we were seeing nearby. This is the second time staying at a CM hotel; the other was in NYC. I love the communal living room. It's super comfy and allows for people to be social and interact. We had a great stay, the hotel was super close to the Grand Central Market where we went for dinner and breakfast. I will definitely be back!

Liked: Very clean, hospitable service.
Disliked: The bathroom door which was magnetic made a loud bang if you let it close naturally. Heard a few in the middle of the night.

Very good

Liked: Clean nice hotel. Rooms are Super comfy.
Disliked: For me, the location was not the best. A bit off Union Station is still very easily accessible. The sink was a bit small, so water kept splashing everywhere.

It’s super small but cute.

Liked: The place is really clean.
Disliked: There’s no phone in the room. You can’t call staff to tell them anything. There was no hand towels in the room. Normally this isn’t an issue due to you could just call the front desk and ask for some. But you can’t call the front desk, there’s not one.

Liked: Honestly, I don’t usually write reviews, but the team at citizenM LA made such an impression that I just had to. From the second we walked in, it felt like we were being looked after by friends—warm, attentive, and just *nice* in that way that makes a hotel stay feel special. Yes, the hotel itself is cool (the rooms are slick, the beds are dreamy), but what really stuck with me was how human everything felt. No stiff formalities, no corporate vibes—just great people who clearly care about making your stay a good one.
