A Pleasant Stay!
Liked: So my wife and I booked this location by mistake early in Spring. Turns out it was a great mistake booking! Location is right next to TD Gardens with a food hall. Location is about 15 minutes to Faneuil Hall area. Given this was our first time in Boston, we felt safe walking around and didn't use public transit at all. We even walked all the way to Beacon Hill / Newbury St. ! Bar is open late too! Room was great and the view is great of downtown from the 11th floor.
Disliked: One night the kitchen was not properly staffed whereas the next night there wasn't much food options due to being mainly pizza oriented. Overall the room was clean prior to check-in; however, the floor cleanliness could have used some more love. We checked in around 8/830pm and noticed dirt/dust seemed to get tracked into the King bed the next morning.

Liked: The staff and the view from our room was amazing! They were friendly at check in and helping store our bags. Our room was comfortable and just what we needed for one night. Great location as well.
Disliked: The woman working at the coffee bar was a little frustrated with us for not ordering breakfast in our initial order. We did not know some coffees were included if we bought breakfast so she had to adjust our order. Also, the regular coffee ran out and should have been refilled.

Liked: Great facilities and great location. Good value.
Disliked: The bar area is really set up well. Just be prepared to wait for staff to get to you when it's not busy. It seems that bar service is the last thing on their mind.

Impersonal technology is not for...
Liked: Room was clean. The view was amazing. The location was great, very close to North Station, so transportation to and from anywhere was very easy.
Disliked: The bed touches the wall on 3 sides, so I had to get my spouse to move and climb across the bed to get out every time. The room is extremely small with the bathroom taking up a lot of the space. There was no privacy because the bathroom is part of the room rather than being a separate room. This hotel caters to smart devices for the TV and lights, but this is frustrating when the iPad they give you isn't working. The small drawer fridge never got cold. They are afraid you'll steal the dongle for the tv, so it's locked to the tv, which forces them to plug the cable into a 2nd cable, which means I could not mirror my phone to the TV because the picture just flashes off and on due to the bad cable being used. On the last day, I asked how to buy some art in the lobby, and they had no idea how to sell it to me, which seemed unfortunate for the artist displaying their work there. I did not feel pampered in any way at this hotel, as they are minimalist and trying to appeal to those that use technology. It was extremely expensive, but I suppose that's just downtown Boston in general.
