All in all still a...

Liked: Convenient location. Love the idea of a fully tech room.
Disliked: The toilet and shower layout in the rooms are a horrible idea. I’m not one for going to the toilet infront of my partner and there is sadly no way around it here. The curtain roller motor is extremely noisy compared to citizenM Rotterdam.

Small on space, Big on...

Liked: The hotel staff is amazing. The rooms were very clean, the kitchen is open all night. Albeit small rooms, this hotel is very affordable for the quality and just a 5-minute walk to the train station. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel while we stayed and both were excellent. I would absolutely stay here again.
Disliked: You have to be very comfortable with your partner/roommate to stay at this hotel if you're sharing a room. The toilet and shower are literally in the room with your bed, and the doors around the toilet aren't exactly sound proof! There was no mini-fridge, and that would have been helpful. I also felt like there could have been more hooks or bars to hang things.

Great quirky hotel but not...

Liked: Very quirky hotel, loved the self service check in as it was efficient. Rooms are cool with the iPad, lighting and mood controls etc. The shower and toilet in the room is an experience but we knew what to expect as stayed in a Citizen M before. Bed was AMAZING! Slept like a baby!! And we didn’t hear a single thing from any other guests.
Disliked: The rooms need a mirror or two! A full length one would fit perfectly behind the door and there’s space for one above the desk! A woman needs a mirror to put her face on ☺️Location was also quite far out and not as central as we’d hoped

Exceptional

Liked: Amazing design. The hotel felt very smartly designed and super cool. Everything felt automated and simple to use. Rooms were controlled through IPad. You could do anything without getting up, amazing.

Hotel clean, cute and affordable...

Liked: The hotel was nice and clean and about 20 minutes away from central Amsterdam. The stay there was all good, except 1 little mishap or lack of attention to! The hotel do not respond back to emails and notes for special occasions or events. We was there on a fun trip for my husband's birthday and I made about 4 attempts to contact the hotel , to do a room set up for my husband, even if this cost extra, for an extra touch for his birthday celebrations. To my surprise, when I got there, the room was not done up at all. I asked the night staff that same night for a room fixture for the next morning as, we will be out of the hotel at 9am, I was assured it would be done, came back still nothing. I made 1 more attempted on the Saturday morning ( day before we was leaving) told a lovely women on the morning shift at the bar with short punky hair! I really wish I remembered her name! I told her I'll be out all day till 5pm, so she said she'll set it up for when we get back then and the lovely staff members delivered! Thank you to that staff member, because out of all my attempts to make a small special gesture, you was the only person in that whole hotel that listened. I stayed from Thursday 26th March 25- Sunday 30th March 25.. She was working the Saturday morning shift on the bar, with another gentleman! She deserves the recognition. Good customer care and went above and beyond.
Disliked: Not checking emails or external provider emails or notes.
