Liked: Love to be able to walk across the street to Lido Beach. Remodel is nice.
Disliked: The “resort fee” is ridiculous. It is exorbitant, pisses me off, and I probably won’t stay there next time because of it. We tried to have a drink at your bar. We were pretty sure that the bar tender’s dog much have died because I’ve never met such a dour, depressing bar tender. Not rude or anything like that, just zero personality.

Disliked: This property is in a great location - across the street from a public beach or you have private access to Lido Beach Club about a block away with chair service and a tiki bar. Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Will def be back next summer and will stay here again. My ONLY complaint- It was a little discerning that when we arrived, the hotel did not have our reservation and they were sold out even after I received three texts from the hotel prior to our arrival. Apparently there can be a disconnect between third party booking sites and the hotels? I’ve never had that problem. Somehow they found a room for us and made the situation right otherwise we could have had to a completely different experience! Elevators were extremely slow. Pool closes at 8 so that was no fun for our kids wanting an evening swim but it’s not that big of a deal.

Liked: The ambience, the cleanliness the staff was excellent. The food was delicious. Very boutique hotel type.
Disliked: Maybe the elevator framing can be a little better than that. Everything else looks amazing.

Liked: Right from the start, the staff was warm and welcoming, and we felt spoiled our entire stay. Although the beach is across the street, it’s easy to access using the crosswalk at the corner of the hotel. The beach area wasn’t crowded, and we had access to Lido Beach Resort if desired. The hotel was an easy two minute walk to St Armand’s Circle. We also took advantage of the free shuttle service. Our room was very clean, and though it faced away from the beach, it had a balcony, which we loved!
